Social Skills Groups – Licensed clinicians and therapists lead small social skills groups to promote positive social behaviors, build values, manners, proper English, using napkins, and much more.

Game Room – Kids play air hockey, board games, and other games together to learn social skills, following game rules, taking turns and handling winning or losing appropriately.

Computers – Children work with staff to use the computer for research and/or to play appropriate games.

Arts and Crafts – We collaborate as a team creating different crafts, drawings, colorings and decorations.

Community Activities – We take students to the movies, restaurants, parks, and other community-based activities to model appropriate behavior.

Cooking/Baking Program – We work with students to teach the life skill of cooking and baking (for younger kids) including reading recipes, measuring, cooking from scratch, good nutrition, and more. Children love to eat (and share) the food they make with each other – and practice table manners along the way.

Summer and Holiday Program – Full-day care is provided for students (under separate or extended contracts). Includes breakfast, lunch, transportation, social outings, and regular activities listed above.

Volunteer Opportunities – Older students volunteer their timing helping out and visiting at local nursing homes twice a week. Kids earn school credits and build their “experience” for use on resumes.

Music Therapy – Students use this creative outlet to build teamwork, trust and reliance on each other – as well as reading and understanding music performance) to create different types of energetic music (including “garbage can” drumming)

Life Skills Group – For older kids to discuss how to pursue the right education for careers, build a resume, understand salaries – to learn how to turn their dreams into reality.

Youth Skills Group – Younger students work on values, conflict resolution, spelling and grammar, telling time, and other issues facing their daily lives.
