AFTERCARE ACTIVITIES
At
All Pointe AfterCare, we fill students’ time during after-school,
weekends and vacations with a wide variety of activities designed
to engage, enlighten and enrich lives. These can include:
- Arts
& crafts (making holiday-themed decorations, posters, cards)
- Group
games
- Sports
(ice skating, bowling)
- Homework/school
support
- Cooking
and baking
- Music
therapy
- Youth
skills
- Visits
to the elderly in the community (Abbott Terrace)
- Trips
to restaurants for snacks or sit-down meals (Rain Forest Café,
McDonald’s, Dunkin Donuts, local restaurants)
- Trips
to special places (Imagination Museum, Andy’s Bounce Barn,
Science Museum, Chuck E. Cheese, Kid City, Air Museum, local bookstores,
and the movies)
For
older students, we offer additional age-appropriate activities including
career development, shopping, visits to the YMCA, and more.
